Synopsis
Maxwell Smart is on a mission to thwart the latest plot for world domination by the evil crime syndicate known as KAOS. When the headquarters of U.S. spy agency Control is attacked and the identities of its agents compromised, the Chief has no choice but to promote his ever-eager analyst Maxwell Smart, who has always dreamt of working in the field alongside stalwart superstar Agent 23. Smart is partnered instead with the lovely-but-lethal veteran Agent 99. Given little field experience and even less time, Smart-armed with nothing but a few spy-tech gadgets and his unbridled enthusiasm-must thwart the doomsday plans of KAOS head Siegfried.

Like Old Days
I liked the TV series and really enjoyed this movie. Brought back old memories of old "Max" but I don't remember "99" being that hot. I think I'll add it to my DVD collection.
enjoyed it
enjoyed it
Mal dosen't have a clue;
PAID to see it with a group of 7 ranging from 11 to 62 years old, EVERYONE liked it and laughed all the way through it... Anne Hathaway is a great straight woman for Max's slapstick...worth seeing again and of course the DVD...
Never agree with someone who is paid to watch a free movie then slam it..
Just my $.02 worth..
Getting Smarter
This isn't your average Maxwell Smart. Some slapstick is there but at least this Max isn't oblivious to what he has just done out of stupidity. Don't go to see this expecting an outstanding movie, just expect to be entertained. [I thought] it was better than the tv series because the secret agents are smarter, even Max.
Don't listen to Mal Vincent!
This was a very good movie. I used to watch the original series when I was a kid. There were many funny moments in this movie.
"Get Smart" is better than expected
After the negative critics' reviews, I didn't expect much, but this is a funny movie. The plot was weak, but Steve Carell manages to pull off the humor and carries the movie.
Family Enjoyed it
I loved it. The wife and kids (16 & 13) enjoyed the movie.
