There’s something for everyone - no matter how young, old or daring! There are rides to slide on. Cruise on. Choose from winding waterslides and relaxing waves. Fly from Bamboo Shoots, let the current drift you along the Jungle Falls or explore the pirate ship in the Buccaneer Bay Children's section.

Ocean Breeze Waterpark has added two new body slides for the summer of 2008. "Walk the Plank" is a 200 foot dark tunnel with an exhilarating 50 foot drop! "Pirates' Plummet" has a tunnel that opens up just as you begin the steep plunge down the slide. Join us this summer for all the fun…if you dare!

Wonderful Park

I am a youth minister in Chesapeake and decided to take my youth group to Ocean Breeze for the second year in a row after my wife and I had spent time at both Water Country USA and King’s Dominion’s water park. We decided to go to Ocean Breeze instead of Water Country because there are typically short wait lines for all rides, the water is much cooler and refreshing, and you do not have to walk so far to enjoy the attractions. Water Country is nice, and has plenty to do, but you spend 45 minutes in line for a 45 second ride. That is not cool. While Ocean Breeze has a shortage of rides, the ones they do have are decent and fun, and you can ride them over and over. Plus the water in the wave pool is quite refreshing on a hot summer day. Overall the park is nice and plan to take my group there again.

Ive worked at Ocean Breeze for the past two years as a lifeguard.. You shouldnt down the whole park because the bathrooms arent the best.. If you dont like it you could of left.. Do not down the whole staff because the housekeepers slack off.. I know as a lifeguard and worker there we work our butts off trying to keep you guys safe.. You know how everyone leaves their trash all over the place..? Yeah who do you think cleans that up? Um yeah the lifeguards do... SO next time you think of downing the whole park because the bathrooms arent to your status think of the other departments. Theres a thing called a new set of bathrooms we built because we know the ones in the front arent the best. Come on people the park has been around for well over 15 years. Give it a break!

Our family had a great time at oceanbreeze. The price is great as well as the activities. We found the park to fit our needs. We enjoyed the dicount after 4pm as well. Going after 4pm gives you plenty of time to enjoy all activities at a great price. It is a clean, fun and enjoyable place to take your family! We can't wait to go back. Also, the lifeguards were great with our daughter!

Great value for the price. My 4 yr old loves it there and it's close enough we can go for a few hours then go home...no more being over tired. Plus there's a McDonald's like 1 mile away and since it's not crazy busy, you can walk to your car and go to McDonald's for lunch...much cheaper. We have a season's pass and we visit there almost once a week. Good, close to home fun. I wish they weren't so strict on how tall you must be though for some rides. My son is right under the height restriction but he can swim. It can be frustrating.

I didn't like this park at all. A few years ago I came with my family and my brother was asked to pick up something out of the water by a lifeguard she bent down and it was poop. The bathrooms are very unsanitary.

This place is awesome! My kids and I had the best time. Ocean Breeze is right here in Hampton Roads (saves gas $$) and even the parking is free. When it was time to go I had to drag my youngest out of the children's area and my oldest out of the wave pool. They wanted to stay all night. And I can't believe how clean everything is. I saw people sweeping and washing everywhere I went. They are even building a new restroom. We bought season passes and will be there all summer.

Ocean Breeze simply isn't clean. The rides are at best, decent. Most of them are fairly old, and the new ones are not that exciting. The bathrooms are horribly filthy, and the restaurants (if you can call them that) are gross (many of the employees were not even wearing gloves and I saw several of them touch their face or hair). Save yourself time and money, DON'T GO HERE!!!! There's a beach 10 minutes away, with an amusement park for the thrill seekers.

I was thinking of taking our family this summer, but changed my mind. My son had his field day there, and I had to pick him up. I got there early after leaving work and told the ticket person that my son was there from school and can I look for him to let him know I was there and where to meet me. I was told NO, that I need to buy a ticket before I can get in!! I was ticked and the manager was rude she would not let me in, I was in work clothes and did not plan on stealing a swim!!! I had to argue with her and then after that she had someone walk with me. I can not understand why they did that and how a manager would make me (and other parents) pay $20.00 to walk in and look for their child, none of us planned on staying in the swimming area. RUDE!!!!

Me and a few friends went about a week ago to take the kids. It's a nice place to go being it's a meduim size waterpark, but I don't like how the bathrooms are not kept clean and having a odor. We were a little upset about the bathrooms not being kept clean @ all times, because we didn't even change clothes. And it would be nice if they had more variety of places to eat there. But it's still a nice place to have some fun in the water, although it's much cheaper to go after 4pm. But the coupons do come in handy for an all day admission.

We took our out of town family here for our first time and had a great time! There's lots of things for children of all ages as well as adults. Not as crowded as a larger waterpark. Many different slides to chose from for all ages. Would recommend getting the discount price for 4pm-close like we did. Not sure if there's enough activities to spend all day here.
