Okay, I am one of those weird people who enjoys summer and having lots of time to spend with the kids. We do the mandatory stuff like kid's dentists and Dr.'s appointments. We also have a lot of fun too. The fun for us is swimming in the pool late on summer evening, or catching ladybugs. We eat lots of ice cream and too much chick- fil- a. We grill out and have friends over until it is too late. We have also checked out the museums and the beach. It is funny how little things like this make me happy--and my kids too.

I know in a month, it will be school time. I have bought the supplies and the uniforms. We have done the summer packet and seen old friends, but somehow I wish that summer was longer and winter was shorter!
