The Neuter Scooter has two new homes, thanks to the generosity of two Suffolk organizations.

The new locations are the Magnolia Ruritan Club building, 1047 Nansemond Parkway, near the corner of Nansemond Parkway and Portsmouth Boulevard, and Glebe Episcopal Church, 4400 Nansemond Pkwy., near the village of Driver.

The Suffolk Humane Society lost its two previous locations when the April 28 tornado blew down Harmony House in Driver and its downtown Suffolk location ended.

Suffolk Humane Society partners with the Virginia Beach SPCA to bring the Neuter Scooter to Suffolk several days a month.

The Neuter Scooter is a mobile surgical bus offering low-cost spay/neuter, vaccines and other services.
