A man killed on a scooter in Camden County Tuesday was identified as David Suchman, 42, of Elizabeth City, said Trooper C.S. Hall of the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
Suchman was killed after a woman driving west on U.S. 158 in a Ford Taurus pulled out to pass another vehicle and struck Suchman driving a scooter east about a half mile west of the intersection with Country Club Road.
Charges are pending against the woman, he said.
