Parade Sept. 5 will honor Olympic medalist Merritt
The parade will start at 5:30 p.m. at the corner of London and Crawford streets in downtown Portsmouth and will proceed to the nTelos Pavilion at Harbor Center, where Merritt is expected to make remarks.
